When UK sex toy retailer Honeylove compiled some statistics using their sales data, they made an interesting discovery: the brain trusts at Cambridge University, England’s most prestigious school, spent more money on sex toys than students at any other university.
Honeylove was quick to make a hypothesis explaining this revelation, claiming there to be a link between hyperactive libidos and high intelligence. Since this makes smart people sound really cool, nobody was in any hurry to disprove it or point out any glaring flaws in logic.
An unnamed person associated with the school acknowledged all the nerd loving going on in the prestigious university. He went on to credit the “work hard, play hard” culture associated with higher education, saying:
“High-achievers aim for excellence in all areas of their life, so it makes sense that achieving sexual happiness is one of their goals.”
This makes a lot of sense. All the super achievers I knew in college also had ridiculous gym regimens. It’s not like they were locked up in their rooms studying either. While the chubby, gluttonous fucks with 3.5 GPAs were rolling around at the same shitty house parties all semester, all the 4.0 students with rock hard bodies and pent-up stress were drinking at hotel parties downtown and hooking up with models.
